I’ve been reluctant to try out a dedicated ice pop maker, like the Zoku Duo Quick Pop Maker, mainly because I already have a lot of safe, BPA-free popsicle molds so I don’t really need an ice pop maker and also because I’m not a fan of owning another counter-top appliance.
However, now Zoku has introduced a new (old-school) way to make ice pops with their “slow” ice pop molds, and these molds, I would try.
The slow molds sets come in three styles:
Zoku’s new slow molds are really unique in that the design is attached, but comes with a silicone sleeve that allows you to still remove one ice pop at a time – just like single serve molds. All three styles are BPA and phthalate free.
The mini molds shown above may be the most unique of the three as they features an innovative pop up feature. Meaning, when you go to grab a mini pop the interior silicone molds automatically invert to easily release your pop. Awesome. Also, I like that these are so tiny. Great for a kid like mine who sometimes won’t eat an entire pop.
